Journalist: The first two years out of university, she felt stuck. Whilst studying, she was labelled a radical. People were intimidated by her tenacity and fearlessness. She didn’t hesitate to protest against the National Union of Students (NUS), organizing demonstrations around social justice, anti-racism and equal rights. However, her independent drives brought little support and money in the real world. Her close companions abandoned her, and she was left feeling bitter about her university activism. She decided to put her sharp, fearless mind to work, writing cynical articles on everything. She wanted to bring her ideas to a wider audience and feels the Tuggstar campaign is the perfect opportunity to find her niche. A couple of years ago she would have been part of the campaign.
